DAY 1 –
17th September 2015
As part
of the creative enterprise brief for this semester I am required to create a
plan for my future career aspects. As I am interested in fashion graphics,
marketing and media I have decided to explore this characteristic and create a
business plan, website and prototype of the service/product I will offer.
I have
previously done this before in the foundation degree for a mock graphic design
business that I would have set up rather than going onto finish my degree. I
have found that this will help me develop my own business plan further. I feel
that I have done this different to last time as I am trying to experiment with
more than just graphic design when it comes to my career aspiration by adding
different types of media into my service/product such as media and marketing.
I feel
that my idea is a little vague so I would need to do more research into
marketing and media business and see what they have to offer. I would also need
to think of the complete branding for my business plan as I don’t have anything
for that so far. I will also research and create a mission statement for my
brand so that everyone will get the purpose of my service/product.
Overall I
am happy with the outcome of today, as I feel clear on where I need to start in
terms of getting myself started on this brief. I also feel confident onto
putting my ideas down of my business to create a clear understanding of what I
want.
